A Harlan native, Andrew began following Jesus when Life Action Ministries visited his home church of Harlan Baptist. Shortly after the Lord saved him, Andrew felt a call into the ministry. Upon graduating from Harlan High School, Andrew attended Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Pineville, KY and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina where he obtained his Master of Divinity degree.
A year after moving back to the tri-state area following seminary, Andrew began leading Baptist Collegiate Ministry at LMU in 2019. He married his wife, Carrie, in 2023, became the assistant pastor at New Beginning in May 2024, and they welcomed their daughter, Eden, a month later. In February of 2025, New Beginning voted for Andrew to replace Donnie Bannister as senior pastor.
Andrew is a lover of travel, coffee, theology, mountain biking, and any game- as long as it is competitive. His greatest hope as a pastor is to lead people in experiencing the presence of the Lord in both the great and ordinary moments.
